I hope each of your had a fun and relaxing holiday. I'm looking forward to seeing each of you next week starting on January 4.
Just for fun I'm sharing some of my favourite memories of teaching 2020:
Back in February 2020, I had students pick from a list of 7 exercises to prepare and surprise me with at our lesson
It's crazy to think but we've been doing online lessons since March 2020. I continue to be amazed by each of you and so thankful we can continue to learn together.
3. Online Recitals
I was so happy we were able to find a solution for piano recitals during this time. The studio participated in a spring and Christmas recital both on youtube. While I still miss being able to gather and listen to live music I am so happy that you get to opportunity to show your music and all your hard work
Loved this studio challenge. Each week brought a new way to work on our rhythms. (heads up - we will be revisiting some of these this year!)
