This year has been amazing. Looking back I am very impressed with how everyone of you have grown and become a better pianist over the course of the year. This year brought several firsts for the studio so I thought it would be fun to do a little look back on everything that went on this year.
September:
-we launched our studio Instagram
-we welcomed many new students
-got into a grove of lessons

-students participated in their first practice challenge of the year "Pumpkin up the Practice"
-we continued with our Star Students

November:
-was a busy month with students preparing their songs for the Christmas recital
-introduced students to various ipad games for review

December:
-we were finally able to have our Christmas Recital after some bad weather forced us to reschedule it.
-for those students who couldn't make it to the new recital date we had a small virtual recital on youtube
-had some more fun with games before taking our 2 week break

January:
-reviewed practice tips
-some students completed piano exams
-more information sent home for "surprise me" week

February:
-students prepared a surprise for me for our "surprise me" challenge. I was blown away with all the creativity

March:
-started off with us preparing for March Break and getting our challenge ready
-ended with all of us moving our lessons online
-big month with 6 students completing their books

April and May:
-looking back these months flew by. Students and parents rose to the challenges that online lessons brought us with flying colours!
-more students completed their books
-we figured out how to play some games on the ipad
-students picked their recital songs and by the end of May had all sent me recordings of their performance
-the final day of May was our first full virtual recital - I was so proud of how it turned out
June:
-several students completed their exams virtually
-more students completed their books
-some students said goodbye until September, others said goodbye until July.
Thank you to each and every student and family for helping to make this crazy year so successful. Without the support from home, especially as we moved to online/virtual lessons, all of the accomplishments wouldn't have been possible. I absolute am so thankful of the hard work you each put forth every week and very proud of all of you. Can't wait to see what we accomplish over the next year.
